Calming Cream

Calling all extra sensitives... we heard your calls and this is our answer! Our calming cream is an homage to you.  Made with the intention to not only be deeply nourishing, but also profoundly healing.  Similar to our love and light blend moisturizer, this moisturizer is:

• high in vitamins A, D, E and K (vitamin E prevents breakdown of collagen & protects skin cells from damaging UV light),
• high in oleic acid (easily penetrates the dermis to replenish lost moisture and stops additional transepidermal water loss),
• and contains palmitic acid (this acid can decrease up to 50% with aging!).

We also added a few extra butters and oils to strengthen the healing properties of this cream.  Here's what we chose and why!

• Unrefined hemp seed butter: rich in fatty acids and phytochemicals that are healing for psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis. It is one of the "driest" natural oils available, meaning it absorbs quickly into the skin without being greasy 
• Calendula oil: Anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties assist with healing wounds and open skin, soothes irritated skin (eczema/psoriasis), can clear up diaper rash, cleanses the skin of acne-causing bacteria, speeds up recovery process of blemishes and scars, and relieves dry/itchy skin by promoting collagen production and helping the skin retain moisture. This oil also helps fight muscle fatigue. 
• Castor oil: Penetrates deeper than any other oil.  Wherever it penetrates it will break up lumps, bumps, adhesions, and cysts. Reduces pain and inflammation, promotes repair, and hydrates the skin. 
• Rosehip oil: Natural and rich source of Vitamin A (trans-retinoic acid), prevents premature skin aging from excess sun and blue light exposure, rich in antioxidants including beta-carotene and lycopene, neutral pH balance and anti-inflammatory properties keep skin balanced and healthy

This balm will deeply nourish and restore the skin's natural balance with its antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. The proprietary oil blend reduces inflammation and irritation, aids in the reduction of fine lines and discoloration, heals wounds and rashes, and helps the skin look fuller and firmer.  While this was created for sensitive skin, it works for all skin types! 

Directions: Apply dime sized amount to clean face / apply liberally to body. Made for sensitive skin. Reapply as needed.
